Desmond Napoles wrote "We Are Amazing" to remind LGBTQ+ youth that they ARE amazing, no matter what others think. It's important to embrace who you are and be proud of it. Desmond often hears from kids and teens who are being bullied. Desmond wants them to know that they are so much more amazing than the bullies. That's what motivated Desmond. They wanted to create an anthem of self-acceptance. Desmond values helping others in life, and they hope to inspire people through their music.
